Apple and almond breakfast balls

Ingredients

  • 1 C rolled oats

  • 1 apple peeled & cored

  • Juice from 1 orange, squeezed

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 1/2 C almonds (soak in water for an hour before you blitz to soften up)

  • 2 tsp chia seeds

  • Sesame seeds to roll in

Directions

Place all ingredients into a food processor (except sesame seeds) and blitz until well combined.  Roll mixture into balls and then roll in the sesame seeds.  Wet your hands a tiny bit if the mixture starts sticking to you, it makes it easier to roll.  Pop in the fridge to set, keep them in a container in the fridge, perfect for breakfast on the run!  Rolls approx 12 balls depending on your size.
