Bacon wrapped asparagus
Ingredients
10 rashers thin streaky bacon
Approx 20 asparagus spears, (I bought 2 bunches)
4 sprigs fresh rosemary
Good dash of olive oil
Salt & pepper to season
Directions
Pre heat your oven to 200 degrees. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Trim the ends off your asparagus, then bundle about 5 together with a rosemary twig in the middle. Wrap 2 pieces of bacon around each bundle, you could tie them with a piece of string to hold them tight. Place on the tray, drizzle with olive oil and a good crack of salt & pepper. Bake for approx 20 minutes or until cooked and delicious.
A simple summer side dish for your bbq’s, they look impressive and are so yum!
