Sesame soy dressing

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp smooth tahini (or peanut butter if you didn’t have it)

  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil

  • 2 Tbsp rice vinegar (or lime juice)

  • 1 Tbsp tamari (soy sauce)

  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey

  • 1 to 3 Tbsp water, more if needed

  • Chilli to taste

  • Sprinkle of sesame seeds (optional)

Directions

In a small bowl, whisk together the tahini, sesame oil, vinegar, tamari, honey and 1 Tbsp of water until smooth. If the dressing is too thick, add an additional tablespoon of water. Add a wee bit of chilli in here if you like a bit of heat, taste it as you go. Add a few sesame seeds in if you have them.

Nutty, savoury and slightly sweet, it’s fantastic on salads, noodles and more. Enjoy! Sarah X
