Easy flourless cheese scones
Ingredients
1 1/2 C almond meal
1 C grated tasty cheese
4 Tbsp room temp butter
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
4 eggs
Directions
Preheat oven to 180 degress. In a bowl mix together the almond meal, cheese, baking powder and salt. Add the butter and mix it all through with your fingers, it’ll end up kind of dough like. In a separate bowl whisk the eggs, then tip into the scone mixture bowl and mix it all together. Grease muffin tins and tip in, the mixture is quite runny. I filled 8 muffin holes. Bake for approx 15 mins or until scones have risen and start looking golden. So easy for an afternoon snack, I cut mine in half and had with a slice of tomato on top, yum!!
